January 4th of 2008, bells rang in San Antonio María Claret Church: the decree, signed by Cardinal Amigo in December 25th of 2007, approving the rules that added the penitential character to the Brotherhood had been received. The aspirations that had driven the Brothers and Sisters of the Brotherhood for decades were fulfilled.

March 14th, only 70 days after, Heliópolis estates filled for the first time with Nazarenes in white tunics and royal-blue scapulars. 70 days of real madness that kicked off a new era, full of illusions and hopes deposited at the feet of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

In this era, the transfer of municipal land was arranged and a new Brotherhood House, with enough capacity to keep floats, Brotherhood belongings and Brotherhood life,  was built on it. The mystery float has been concluded with the new candelabrum (that replaced the previous phalores) and carved grilles (instead of the fabric ones). Important charitable actions have been carried out, with a very specific place for our project with immigrants in human settlements of Lucena del Puerto.

The edition of a Lenten poster is creating a very interesting collection of contemporary pictorial art, for which we have counted on important firms of the current panorama.

The first 75 years of the re-founded Brotherhood of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Seville) will be celebrated in 2024 with various events and actions. This exhibition is part of an attempt to show the history of the brotherhood.

And we continue walking with a determined step towards the future, which will be that of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who accompanies us every day with his real presence in the Eucharist and whom we honor under the invocation of Santo Cristo de la Misión and his blessed mother, Mary, Immaculate Heart woman, Amparo of our lives, have prepared for us.

In the meantime, we will continue to say, as our shield and our spear, as our shield and our motto: 

Oh sweet Heart of Mary, be my salvation!
